Zator’s cold glue applications systems
It’s more than 20 years that Zator design and develop cold glue application systems to be fitted to woodworking machinery.
The automation of the assembly lines in the furniture and furnishing accessories by gluing is common application and increase the production speed and improve the final products.
Its very important to get glue application valves that match the needs required: all of our valves can be fitted individually or become integral parts of our complete gluing system.
There are three types of valves that we offer, MZV, MZK and MZF: the first two are for extrusion to apply lines or glue dots, while the third is spray, used to atomizing the glue.
MZV and MZK are pneumatic valves suitable for use on boring – doweling machines, doweling machines, machining centers, furniture assembly lines and panel assembly. The valves are designed to work at low and high pressures up to a maximum of 80 bar and they got the particularity of using “zero cavity” nozzles, thus preventing the adhesive from occluding the nozzle. MZK, unlike MZV, is equipped with a built-in solenoid valve.
MZF, on the other hand, is a spray valve suitable for low viscosity adhesives and is recommended in applications where a precise and uniform nebulization of the product is needed. It is characterized by a nozzle and cap with non-stick coating and controlled by external solenoid valves.
Curiosity: How a piece of furniture is assembled?
Distribution of the vinyl glue in the holes and possibly in the groove-channel, present in the vertical panels (sides).
Joining the vertical panels to the horizontal panels, tops-bottoms-bands, typically already equipped with wooden pins.
Manual pre-assembly of the parallelepiped (with possible use of other elements such as the panel used as a back or intermediate fixed partition-shelves).
Introduction of the element as pre-assembled inside the furniture press.
